Make-up Water Pump

The main function of the make-up water pump for the heat exchanger is to supplement the fluid in the system, maintain the pressure stability of the system, and ensure the normal operation of the system. The make-up water pump will start and stop automatically according to the system pressure, or adjust the speed to keep the set pressure value.

Within the heat exchanger unit, the make-up water pump is responsible for replenishing the system with fluid, which is typically softened water, to compensate for losses due to leakage, evaporation, and other reasons, thus maintaining constant system pressure.

The start and stop of the make-up water pump are usually automatically controlled by the pressure sensor and the controller according to the system pressure. the system pressure is lower than the set value, the make-up water pump will automatically start to supply water to the system; when the system pressure reaches the set value, the-up water pump will automatically stop.
