Each plate consists of two parts

 

Metal plate

It is a metal sheet with corrugations, sealing grooves and corner holes, which is an important heat transfer element. The corrugations can not only enhance heat transfer, but also increase the strength and rigidity of the thin plate, thereby improving the pressure bearing capacity of the plate heat exchanger. And because it causes the liquid to be in a turbulent state, it can reduce the formation of sediment or dirt, and play a certain "self-cleaning" role.

Sealing gasket

It is installed in the gasket groove along the periphery of the plate, sealing the periphery between the plates to prevent the fluid from leaking outward, and according to the design requirements, it seals a part of the corner holes so that the cold and hot liquids flow according to their respective flow channels.

One-shot molding

The plates are all stamped and formed in one time using extremely precise molds. Only plates formed in one time have the same precision, so there is uniform metal point contact between the plates, ensuring that the plate heat exchanger can operate normally under higher pressure and withstand the pressure shock of the system.

Advanced plate design

Advanced plate design is to apply CAD/CAM technology and advanced pressing technology to make all plates have extremely high precision, so thinner plates are used to improve heat transfer efficiency.

Diversion area

In order to facilitate the configuration of pipes, the inlet and outlet pipes of modern plate heat exchangers are all single-sided. To make full use of the entire heat exchange area, it is necessary to ensure that the fluid is evenly distributed over the entire plate. For a wide plate, it is also necessary to ensure uniform distribution. Another significant feature is the low pressure drop, which can make more pressure drop for heat transfer, thereby obtaining a higher heat transfer coefficient.
