Clamping Plate for Plate Heat Exchanger Accessories

Does not contact with the fluid, tightens the gasket after tightening with the clamping bolts, and cooperates with the movable clamping plate to clamp all heat transfer plates to prevent fluid leakage and allow the fluid to flow between different plates according to the designed path.

Used in combination with the fixed clamping plate, it can slide on the guide rod to facilitate the installation, disassembly, inspection and maintenance of the plate heat exchanger.

Usually made of steel plates, the shape depends on the design of the plate heat exchanger, generally rectangular or square, the size needs to cover the entire end surface of the plate group, with threaded holes for clamping bolts, and holes or grooves for guide rods.

The clamping plate compresses the plate group and the sealing gasket through the tightening force of the clamping bolts, forming a sealed fluid channel between the plates. When the bolts are tightened, the clamping plate applies uniform pressure to the plate group, causing the sealing gasket to deform and fill the gap between the plates to achieve sealing.

Carbon structural steel and low-alloy high-strength steel such as Q235A, Q235B, Q345B, which have good strength, toughness and processing performance and can meet the mechanical performance requirements of the clamping plate.

In some working conditions of high temperature, high pressure or corrosive media, stainless steel or other corrosion-resistant alloy materials, such as 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, etc., can be selected to improve the corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance of the clamping plate.
